Run Saber Overview
Run Saber is a side scrolling platform game set in the late 30th century. Its narrative centers on a scientist whose environmental restoration project malfunctions, releasing genetically altered monsters. To counter this threat, two of his earlier creations, the enhanced warriors Sheena and Allen, are deployed.
Players control one of these characters, each associated with a distinct elemental power. The gameplay involves navigating through five stages, confronting standard enemies as well as more significant boss and miniboss mutants. Movement options are versatile, allowing characters to jump, climb on surfaces, and slide.
Combat primarily utilizes a sword attack, which can be enhanced by collected items. Additional power ups restore health, grant extra lives, or enable a screen clearing special move tied to the character's elemental theme. The game's structure, involving successive levels with major adversaries, suggests a challenging pace.
