Pieces Overview
Pieces presents a hybrid puzzle experience, combining the tile placement of Tetris with the image completion of a jigsaw. The core task involves fitting shaped pieces into their correct silhouettes on a board to gradually reveal a picture.
Puzzles are organized into eight distinct thematic categories, such as sports or world landmarks. Each category contains eight puzzles, with the number of pieces per puzzle varying between 36 and 60, offering a fair range of complexity.
Multiplayer is a central feature, supporting competition for up to five human players who take turns under time constraints. The challenge level in these matches is adjustable across four settings. Solo players can also face off against computer opponents. This competitive mode includes special abilities, like one that removes half of a rival's completed sections.
