Nickelodeon GUTS Overview
Nickelodeon GUTS adapts a children's television competition series into a video game format. The objective across its various events is to accumulate points within a time limit.
Multiplayer is supported for two participants, though the implementation varies. Certain events allow for simultaneous split-screen competition, while others require players to take turns.
The gameplay is segmented into distinct athletic challenges. One category involves being attached to a bungee cord to play modified versions of sports like basketball, lacrosse, and football. Another set of events tasks the player with navigating a demanding obstacle course, where they can collect items to extend their time or recover health.
The culminating challenge is the Aggro Crag, a large artificial mountain filled with hazards like moving platforms and smoke vents. To complete it, a player must locate and activate five sensors placed on the ascent before reaching the final one at the summit.
