Show do Milhão Overview
Show do Milhão is a Sega Genesis adaptation of a Brazilian television quiz program hosted by Silvio Santos. The game replicates elements like the host's digitized voice and the program's theme music, with all content presented in Portuguese.
Gameplay involves answering a series of sixteen multiple-choice questions to accumulate a cash prize. The player has access to several aids, including a statistical display of how simulated players answered and advice from a panel of three guests. Another option allows the removal of incorrect answers by selecting from shuffled cards, though one card offers no assistance.
The structure includes three blocks of five questions, culminating in a final question for the top prize. A player may skip a question up to three times, receiving a replacement of equal value. Choosing to stop at any point before the final question awards half the money earned to that stage, while an incorrect answer reduces the winnings to a quarter. The final question presents a challenging risk, as a wrong answer forfeits all accumulated money, though the option to stop and take half remains.
