The narrative begins when he discovers a fragment of a treasure map, prompting a quest across four distinct environments: a Forest, a Town, the Sea, and the Moon. His objective is to confront the antagonists who possess the remaining map pieces.
Gameplay involves standard platforming actions such as jumping and shooting. A unique mechanic allows Ronald to use his scarf as a grappling tool to reach higher platforms by latching onto hooks. Resources like jewels and flowers gathered during stages serve as currency. These can be spent at shops located between levels to acquire power ups and additional lives.
