Cosmic Spacehead Overview
Cosmic Spacehead follows an alien named Linus who must return to Earth to gather photographic proof of its existence after his initial journey is dismissed as fiction. The experience is structured around two distinct gameplay modes that alternate as needed.
Exploration and puzzle solving occur in an adventure game format, where players interact with environments and characters. This is facilitated by a point and click interface for constructing commands, reminiscent of certain contemporary graphic adventures. Progress often requires transitioning into action oriented platforming sequences, which involve navigating hazardous side scrolling areas.
A practical feature is that successfully completed action stages do not need to be replayed upon returning to a previously visited area. The overall pacing could be considered fair, as the game provides a password system to save progress and resume from specific points.
