American Gladiators Overview
American Gladiators is a video game adaptation of the television program. Its structure involves a sequence of athletic contests where the player is tested against a roster of ten professional opponents, divided evenly between men and women.
The roster includes characters such as Ice, Gold, Lace, Blaze, and Zap, with several noted for backgrounds in bodybuilding. The male Gladiators are represented by figures like Turbo, Nitro, Gemini, Thunder, and Laser, the last of whom is identified with a bodybuilding title from 1986. The competition culminates in a direct head-to-head race known as the Eliminator, which serves as the final event.
All seven of the game's events are presented from a third-person perspective. The core activity pits the player's abilities in strength, speed, and skill against the trained Gladiator team.
