Werewolf: The Last Warrior Overview
Werewolf: The Last Warrior is set in a land conquered by a villain and his genetically altered monster forces. The player controls a lycanthrope, a character who shifts between human and werewolf forms, as the sole opposition to this threat.
Gameplay revolves around managing this transformation. The human state has basic combat abilities, including a projectile attack. By collecting a specific power-up, the character assumes a werewolf form with enhanced mobility, strength, a shockwave attack, and wall-climbing. This form is preferable but can be lost. A secondary mechanic within the werewolf state involves collecting items to fill a meter, which eventually triggers a more powerful and temporarily resilient super state.
The journey to confront the evil leader is divided into five distinct stages. Each concludes with a boss encounter that follows a set pattern of movement, suggesting a fair but structured challenge.
