Super Team Games Overview
Super Team Games is a side scrolling title for the Nintendo Entertainment System that requires the specialized Power Pad peripheral. Player movement is directly tied to physical actions on the pad, such as running in place or jumping, to control an on screen avatar navigating obstacle courses.
The core activity involves racing to a finish line, but several distinct modes alter this objective. These include manipulating a large ball through the course, moving while encased in a bubble, or traversing hazards like water sections where a mistimed jump forces a time consuming swim. Other variations impose specific movement styles, such as a crab walk or using a skateboard.
While the basic game is a head to head competition, it also provides cooperative events. Players can work together in activities like a tug of war, a relay race, or a six legged race.
