Skate or Die Overview
Skate or Die presents a collection of five skating events accessed from a central hub where the player character moves on a skateboard. This menu area also provides access to a shop for equipment upgrades managed by a character named Rodney.
The gameplay is divided between trick based competitions and downhill races. One event focuses on performing stunts for judges within a limited number of tries, while another challenges the player to achieve maximum vertical height from a ramp.
The racing segments feature an overhead perspective and involve navigating a course against the clock or a rival. These races include environmental obstacles that can be avoided or cleared with jumps, and players can use aggressive maneuvers to disrupt an opponent. A separate confrontational mode takes place in a pit, transforming the skating into a direct combat scenario where players wield a stick against a single adversary.
