Shooting Range Overview
Shooting Range is a light gun title for the NES where players aim at moving targets across several themed stages. Success requires achieving a stage specific score before a timer or health bar depletes, with both resources managed by shooting certain items that appear.
The experience is structured around three primary stages, each with a distinct setting such as a western environment or a haunted house. A separate bonus stage involves shooting bottles, and a competitive party mode is also included.
Gameplay difficulty is adjustable, directly impacting the starting time limit and making higher settings more challenging. Points are earned primarily by hitting discs, with values varying. Special icons can be shot to replenish time, restore energy, or add to the score.
