Menace Beach Overview
Menace Beach is an NES action game where the player character fights through urban and subterranean environments. The central objective is to rescue a kidnapped girlfriend from a character named Demon Dan.
Combat involves using fists, but also projectiles like ketchup bottles, wrenches, and bombs that are unpredictably thrown from windows and sewer walls. These items can be collected and thrown to defeat enemies more efficiently. Opponents encountered include evil clowns, Elvis impersonators, and Ninjas that appear at random.
Movement across the various town and sewer levels is accomplished on a skateboard. The environment itself presents a challenging element, as the same sources that provide helpful weapons can also throw hazardous objects.
