Fisher-Price Firehouse Rescue Overview
Fisher-Price: Firehouse Rescue is an NES game where the core objective involves rescuing neighborhood residents and their pets. The player operates a firefighter who drives a firetruck, with both characters and vehicles designed in the recognizable Fisher-Price toy aesthetic.
Gameplay is divided into two distinct phases. Initially, the firetruck must be driven through overhead-view streets to locate a specific house. Upon arrival, the perspective shifts to the side, requiring the player to position the vehicle's ladder to safely retrieve a person or animal from above.
The initial stage presents a simple, single-screen layout, but progression introduces more challenging multi-screen areas. Later missions incorporate time constraints and require collecting keys before a rescue can be attempted.
