Clash at Demonhead Overview
Clash at Demonhead is a side scrolling action game incorporating role playing mechanics. Players control Sergeant Billy "Big Bang" Blitz, an operative of the S.A.B.R.E. unit, whose objective is to prevent a global catastrophe.
The primary threat comes from the LAWBREAKERS organization, which has kidnapped Professor Plum to complete his doomsday device called DEAD END. The mission requires navigating to the peak of Demonhead mountain to rescue the professor and stop the device's activation.
Progression involves finding an optimal path through the environment, which is made more complex by areas requiring specific gear. Currency obtained from defeated enemies is used to purchase equipment such as a diving suit for underwater sections and a jetpack for vertical traversal. A shop card item allows access to vendors from any location.
