F-1 Spirit adapts Konami's top-down racing series to a portable format. The game includes twenty five global circuits, with certain tracks accessible only during championship events. Players progress through tiers from Japanese Formula 3 to the World F1 Grand Prix.
Three vehicle classes effectively serve as difficulty settings. As players advance, circuits lengthen to necessitate pit stops and corners become more complex, shifting the gameplay from fair to challenging.
