Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan is a side-scrolling action title where players control one of four ninja turtles. The turtles, mutated into humanoid forms with human intelligence, were trained in ninjutsu by their rat sensei Splinter. Their mission is to rescue a kidnapped reporter named April from the antagonist Shredder.
Gameplay involves jumping and attacking through levels. Occasionally, hidden bonus stages provide opportunities to restore a character's health. This title was the initial entry in Konami's series of Game Boy adaptations based on the wider Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise.
