Square Deal is a card game that uses poker hands as its core mechanic. The player's task is to clear a five by five grid by forming complete poker hands in either vertical or horizontal lines.
Cards descend individually onto this grid from a shuffled standard deck. Successfully creating a hand causes those cards to vanish. The game is won by removing all fifty two cards, which then allows progression to a higher level.
Later levels increase the challenging nature of play by making cards fall faster and reducing the time available for the player to pause and plan their moves.
