Lock ‘N Chase Overview
Lock 'n' Chase is an arcade maze game where the player controls a thief navigating through a series of bank layouts. The primary objective involves gathering all gold coins while evading pursuing police officers.
Levels introduce increasing complexity with new environmental features. These include sliding doors, invisible passages, teleporters, and items like question marks or alarm clocks that affect police behavior. The player can strategically close up to two doors at once to obstruct pursuers, though these barriers reopen after a brief period.
Special bonus items, such as cash bags or diamonds, appear intermittently to provide temporary advantages like stunning officers or granting invincibility. Completing all stages in a bank unlocks a bonus round, a slot machine where collected diamonds grant chances to earn extra lives.
