Attack of the Killer Tomatoes Overview
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is a platform game adapted from an animated series. Players control Wilbur Finletter across eleven side scrolling stages to confront Doctor Gangrene, whose vegetable creations are terrorizing a town.
Progression requires locating a concealed tomato can and then reaching the stage exit before time expires. Wilbur can jump across pits and defend himself by kicking nearby foes or finding throwable swords. Contact with enemies depletes a life energy meter, and losing all energy costs a life. Scattered items provide temporary benefits, such as invincibility from lightning bolts or points from other objects. A skateboard is also available for movement.
The structure primarily involves navigating platform stages, though three specific levels culminate in a boss encounter.
