Bomberman Max: Blue Champion Overview
Bomberman Max: Blue Champion is a Game Boy Color title that continues the series' core mechanics of placing bombs to clear obstacles and defeat enemies, with the objective of reaching an exit. The presentation retains the visual and audio style established in earlier entries.
This release is one half of a paired set, with Bomberman Max: Red Challenger Edition containing the other portion. Each cartridge features exclusive stages, and a link cable connection is required to transfer data between them. This process is necessary to access all content and finish the complete adventure.
A secondary system involves collecting Charabombs, creatures that can be trained. These creatures engage in battles against others in a simplified contest based on Rock/Paper/Scissors rules.
