Cyber Marine is a shareware title where the player controls a character from a third person perspective. The environment consists of caverns filled with various hazards, including robotic enemies, automated defenses, and environmental dangers like toxic pits.
Control is handled exclusively through the keyboard with a fixed, non customizable set of action keys. The player is given five lives to navigate through these areas, making the experience challenging as they must avoid all threats to survive.
