Naruto: Saikyou Ninja Daikesshuu 2 presents a board game style of adventure where movement is determined by a dice roll. This roll is executed by manipulating the D-pad.
Progress across the board can lead to various encounters. Some spaces trigger turn-based battles against hostile opponents, while others offer mini-games where rice balls can be won. The landscape also contains houses where the character Fūsuke can visit a friend.
Advancing sufficiently through the game unlocks additional playable characters. The ultimate objective is for the player to guide their character to a distant tower and defeat the antagonist known as Yoko-san.
