Jurassic Park III : The DNA Factor is a game that merges side-scrolling platforming with puzzle-solving mechanics. Players select either a photographer or a pilot to navigate through over a dozen levels, avoiding dinosaurs and environmental dangers.
The primary objective during these action sequences is to gather DNA fragments scattered throughout the stages. Collecting a sufficient amount unlocks the exit and grants access to a separate dinosaur creation mode.
This secondary mode involves using the collected genetic material to assemble ten distinct dinosaur species. The puzzle aspect of correctly matching DNA samples becomes progressively challenging as the game advances.
