Dogz Overview
Dogz for the Game Boy Advance is a pet simulation game where the core activity involves caring for a virtual dog. Players begin by selecting one of eighteen available breeds, each offering multiple color variations.
Interaction with the pet includes activities like walking it, entering competitions, and hosting social gatherings with other dogs encountered in the neighborhood. Proper care is incentivized through a reward system, where players earn gifts to personalize their room and can purchase additional items like toys from a pet store.
The Nintendo DS version of the game utilizes the system's unique hardware features. These include voice recognition for calling the dog and teaching commands, a touch screen for keeping a diary, and a networking function for sharing mini-games with other players.
