Daisenryaku Overview
Daisenryaku presents a turn based military strategy experience where players command one of four national forces: the US, USSR, FRG, or Japan. Each nation fields distinct combat units modeled on real world equipment, including aircraft like the F 15 and Mig 23 alongside ground assets such as tanks and infantry.
Battles unfold across six different maps on a grid that approximates a hexagonal layout using square tiles. Gameplay involves producing various unit types, each with unique combat attributes that determine their effectiveness in engagements. The core conflict in any scenario is between two opposing factions, designated simply as black and white.
Players can test their strategies against the system's artificial intelligence or compete directly with another person. Success depends on understanding the specific offensive and defensive capabilities of different units, from helicopters to armored vehicles, and deploying them effectively.
