The First Samurai Overview
First Samurai is a platform action title with a setting that blends medieval and oriental elements. The player controls a young samurai who, after his master is killed by a Demon King, learns magic and pursues the foe into an unknown future.
Gameplay involves navigating platform environments where combat is a central focus. The protagonist begins with basic martial arts like punches and kicks, but later acquires a magical sword and projectile weapons such as knives and axes. Enemies continuously respawn, though health-restoring food is commonly available, making it challenging for the player character to be defeated.
