This installation process is challenging, requiring the player to work under the hood or beneath the car, removing and correctly replacing a series of screws and bolts for engine and transmission components. A mistake in this order renders the car inoperable. Separate procedures, like using a jack, are needed for tire changes.
Beyond maintenance, routine operation is a factor, as the car consumes fuel during races. Players must periodically visit a gas station to refuel in order to continue driving.
