Robbo Overview
Robbo is a side-scrolling action puzzle game where the player controls a robot. The objective is to gather all the screws required to repair a ship and then reach an escape capsule, navigating through a hazardous environment.
Gameplay involves overcoming various obstacles and threats, such as hostile alien life, traps, and devices like cannons or electromagnets. Players must solve spatial puzzles, which can include moving chests, locating keys for doors, and utilizing items like bombs and teleporters. The robot can also employ a gun after acquiring ammunition.
The number of levels differs by platform. While the original Atari 8-bit release contained 56 levels, the DOS version expanded this to 60. The Atari ST version offers the most content, featuring the original 56 levels plus an additional 80, for a total of 136 levels, suggesting a challenging amount of content.
