Gravoor Robboors 2 Overview
Gravoor Robboors 2 was one of those games you'd find in the later days of Flash. It didn't have the polish of bigger releases, but it had a specific, odd charm. You'd load it up on a site packed with other experiments, never quite sure what you were getting into.
You guide a little alien through a series of maze-like rooms. Control is indirect; the alien follows your mouse cursor, drifting toward it with a loose, floaty physics. Your main goal is to navigate him to an exit in each stage. The challenge comes from the environment. You have to avoid touching the walls with the alien's central body, though his spindly limbs can brush against them. Some rooms introduce moving hazards or require careful timing to slip through narrow passages. The pacing is deliberate, sometimes slow, as you nudge the character into position. It feels like coaxing a stubborn, slightly drunken creature through a precarious obstacle course.
