Paranoia! is a real-time strategy title that shares many core mechanics with Dune II: The Building of a Dynasty. The setting is the planet Paranoia in the Beretta solar system during the year 2673.
Victory is achieved by eliminating all opposing structures and military forces. To fund this conquest, players direct their units to harvest a resource called hopsinky, which is then converted into currency at a distillery. This money fuels base expansion and army production.
While the economic and strategic foundations are familiar, certain elements distinguish it. These include defensive options like mines and a system for the renewal of the primary resource.
