Fire & Ice Overview
Fire & Ice is a platforming game where the player controls a coyote navigating through distinct environments. The primary method of interaction involves launching ice cubes at adversaries, which immobilizes them and allows the coyote to shatter them upon contact.
Progression is gated by collecting key fragments dropped by defeated foes. Once assembled, these pieces form a complete key to advance to the next area. The gameplay is supported by collectible enhancements, including coyote pups that provide invulnerable companionship and assist in combat.
Additional power-ups come in the form of snowflakes; gathering a sufficient quantity grants a large snowball capable of freezing multiple on-screen enemies at once. The core loop involves running, jumping, and using these freezing mechanics to overcome obstacles and hostile creatures like birds and penguins.
