Fate Overview
Fate is a DOS game that utilizes the Build engine, a technology also employed by titles such as Duke Nukem 3D and Blood. Its development was handled by DogBone Software, not by Intracorp's internal studio as was once believed.
The project remained unfinished due to Intracorp's bankruptcy, which occurred shortly after a demo version was made available in October 1996. Consequently, only a four-level demo exists, and a full commercial release never materialized.
Gameplay elements noted in the available build include the ability to jump between maps and weapons featuring alternate fire modes. The enemy artificial intelligence was considered more advanced compared to other games from the same publisher.
