Fantasy Empires is a DOS title where players assume the role of a kingdom's ruler with the goal of expanding their territory. The setting is the enchanted world of Dungeons & Dragons, providing a backdrop for strategic conquest.
Gameplay involves managing resources, recruiting armies, and training heroes who can be sent on quests. Players can employ magic, warfare, or strategic planning to take over adjacent kingdoms, with a computer-controlled Dungeon Master character offering both insight and comic relief.
