Deathrack Overview
Deathrack is a racing game set in a futuristic version of America where competition is lethal. The primary objective across ten tracks is to finish first or eliminate all other drivers. Success provides prize money used for vehicle enhancements.
Players begin with a financial stake, selecting one of three specialized cars. These initial choices emphasize either speed, offensive weaponry, or defensive armor. Opponents are represented with digitized photographs, and all vehicles are rendered as 3D models during races.
Earnings from victories fund a progressive upgrade system for the player's car. Each category of improvement, such as weapons or armor, typically offers three tiers of effectiveness. This allows a vehicle to be gradually transformed into a more dominant machine. The competitive environment is challenging, as rivals actively attempt to destroy the player during events.
