Deathbringer Overview
Deathbringer is a side scrolling beat 'em up where the player controls a warrior named Karn. His objective is to fight through a large environment consisting of over 600 interconnected screens spread across thirty levels.
Karn wields the Deathbringer Sword, a weapon containing a trapped demon placed there by evil wizards who seek to end his long standing opposition to them. The game's structure allows for multiple exits within its levels, offering some flexibility in progression. Its presentation was noted for graphical details such as parallax scrolling.
