Cyberia Overview
Gameplay in Cyberia is structured around a series of scripted action sequences and puzzles, connected by limited navigation. The player frequently engages in confrontations from the perspective of flying vehicles or fixed gun turrets, requiring them to destroy enemy craft.
The narrative is set in 2027, a period defined by the conflict between two global powers: the Free World Alliance and the Cartel. A hacker named Zak is recruited by FWA leader Devlin for a mission into Siberia, targeting a hidden laboratory known as the Cyberia Complex.
Zak's objective is to uncover the nature of a secret weapon under development there. His mission is complicated by multiple hostile forces, including Cartel troops who have taken control of the facility and genetically engineered creatures created by the complex's scientists. The motivations of his own commander, Devlin, also appear to be unclear.
