Cool Croc Twins Overview
Cool Croc Twins is a platform puzzle game where players control either Punk or Funk, a pair of crocodile brothers aiming to reach a female crocodile. Progress requires navigating more than sixty stages composed of floating platforms.
A central mechanic involves walking off a platform's edge to continue moving upside-down on its underside, effectively inverting the character's orientation. Vertical movement is handled not by jumping but by reversing gravity, making the character fall upward or downward to the next platform.
The primary objective in each stage is to activate all light bulbs by hitting them, which requires three contacts per bulb. This task is complicated by adversaries that move similarly to the player, traversing both sides of platforms and using gravity reversal. These foes can deactivate illuminated bulbs by colliding with them. On some later levels, bulbs are not initially visible.
The experience can be challenging due to these enemy interactions. A two-player mode allows each participant to control one twin and compete for a higher score.
