Clive Barker's Nightbreed: The Action Game is a side-scrolling action title set in the world of the Nightbreed film. Players control Boone, who fights through the subterranean realm of Midian against groups like the Sons of the Free and the Berserkers.
The central objective involves a multi-stage quest. Boone must first locate three keys hidden across the levels, with the final key requiring a confrontation with an enemy known as the MASK. Following this, a journey to the deity Baphomet grants Boone the temporary ability to transform into a more powerful and resilient form named Cabal.
