Bedlam 2: Absolute Bedlam Overview
Bedlam 2: Absolute Bedlam is an isometric shooter set six months after the original conflict. The player again assumes the role of Major Kern, piloting a combat robot against the resurgent biomechanical forces now called Biomex, which have seized key facilities.
Gameplay involves navigating expansive levels, with movement and firing mapped to the left and right mouse buttons respectively. Defeated enemies drop various pickups, including currency used to purchase robot upgrades between the game's thirty missions. Mission objectives are diverse, ranging from capturing bases to rescue operations, with optional secondary goals providing additional benefits.
The campaign structure allows players to select freely from four distinct sets of missions, which grow progressively more challenging. As the game advances, command expands to manage a squad of up to three robots simultaneously.
