Alien Rampage Overview
Alien Rampage is a 2D side scrolling game where the player controls a hostile alien stranded on a planet. The primary objective is to fight through hostile environments to reach a ship for departure.
Combat is a central component, involving the use of various weapons to eliminate large numbers of creatures and bounty hunters. This action is presented with a high level of graphic violence, comparable to a two dimensional version of DOOM. The gameplay focuses on shooting, supplemented by running and jumping.
Progression is supported by systems for purchasing upgrades and interacting with the planet's indigenous troll like inhabitants, who provide assistance for solving puzzles. The visual presentation features large animated characters and detailed, multi layered parallax backgrounds.
