Super Fire Pro Wrestling Queen's Special is an entry in the Fire Pro series that simulates the All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling promotion. The in-game competition centers on winning the federation's top championship, known as the Red belt.
Its approach to the sport is presented as skill-based, contrasting with more theatrical western interpretations that were common at the time. The roster consists of wrestlers from that real-world promotion.
Gameplay involves a move set for each character, categorized by strength. While weaker moves can be attempted freely, executing the most powerful techniques typically requires an opponent to be in a weakened state, especially during grapples. This creates a challenging strategic layer to matches.
Match types include singles, tournaments, Battle Royal, and Elimination bouts. The game also provides a creation suite, allowing for the design of up to sixteen custom wrestlers.
