Puzzle'N Desu! Overview
Puzzle'N Desu! is a block-matching puzzle game controlled by a character wearing a pointed hat. The core objective is to clear all colored blocks from each stage by grouping them into sets of three or more identical colors, which causes them to vanish.
Block movement has a distinct sliding mechanic; pushing a block sends it across the screen until it meets an obstacle like another block or a wall. This requires players to think ahead, as the layout must be manipulated to eliminate every block of a given color. The game can be challenging due to this need for planning and the presence of a timer. Running out of time costs a life, and while a level can be reset with a button combination, the timer continues from its current state.
Beyond the single-player puzzles, the software includes tools for creating custom stages. It also supports competitive play for up to four participants, with match rules adjustable before starting.
