Hagane: The Final Conflict Overview
Hagane: The Final Conflict is an action platformer where players control a cyborg ninja. His mission is to recover the Holy Grail, an artifact stolen by the Koma clan after they wiped out his own Fuma clan.
The game is structured across five main stages, each containing multiple sub-stages populated with enemies and platforming challenges. The protagonist possesses a versatile moveset including a double jump and the ability to rebound from walls. Defensive options include a ground slide and a somersault maneuver used to evade threats.
Combat utilizes four distinct weapons: a short sword, a chain, throwing knives, and bombs. The knives and bombs have limited ammunition, which can be replenished from items dropped by defeated foes. By holding the shoulder buttons to initiate a somersault jump and then pressing attack or jump at specific points, the cyborg can execute various special attacks like flaming strikes or kicks.
Each stage culminates in a boss encounter, contributing to a challenging experience that tests both combat skill and traversal abilities.
