Saigo no Nindou is an action game where the ninja Moonlight seeks vengeance for his father's death. His journey takes him through many levels populated by enemies.
Moonlight utilizes a variety of weapons, including a katana, shurikens, bombs, and a sickle and chain. The game requires selecting the appropriate tool for different obstacles and enemy types, as each has situational uses.
Originating as an arcade title, the Game Boy version lacks any password or save system. To address the resulting challenging progression, the port includes adjustable difficulty settings.
