Harvest Moon GB Overview
Harvest Moon GB is a farming simulation that tasks the player with managing a farm over a full annual cycle. The core activities involve budgeting, caring for crops and livestock, and acquiring necessary supplies from local stores.
Interaction extends beyond the farm, as players can trade with townspeople and other farmers. A multiplayer function allows for item exchange when linking two Game Boy systems. The setting includes a town for leisure and a network of tunnels inhabited by creatures that may aid or hinder progress.
Gameplay unfolds from an overhead view across distinct areas. The four seasons introduce specific challenges, such as protecting animals in winter and irrigating crops in summer. The Game Boy Color iteration features new characters and color graphics while remaining compatible with the original monochrome release.
