Dynablaster Overview
Dynablaster is the European title for a Bomberman series entry from Hudson Soft, also known as Atomic Punk and Bomber Boy in other regions. Its structure includes distinct single-player and multiplayer experiences, each with their own rule sets.
The single-player campaign is split into two primary modes. One mode follows the traditional Bomberman formula. The other introduces a non-linear world map where nine areas can be tackled in any sequence. Performance in these areas, measured by completion time and blocks destroyed, earns gold currency. This gold is spent at a shop on power-ups, referred to as panels, which provide advantages like extra lives or larger explosions. Players must select their equipped panels before attempting each new area.
Multiplayer is exclusively player versus player, with two available configurations. One variant limits players to a single bomb with a small blast radius, but scattered panels can be collected to improve these capabilities during the match. The other variant provides no such panels, but instead grants each player a starting capacity of four bombs simultaneously with a significantly larger explosion radius.
