Zok Zok Heroes is a Game Boy Color title where the player selects a protagonist, either Ippei or Mina, to defend their hometown from the Galacutasu force. The core gameplay involves exploring the town, using three verbal commands to interact with the environment and characters.
Progress is made by solving puzzles, recruiting heroes, and engaging in battles. Before a fight can begin, the protagonist must transform into a Bright Suit using a Full Changer, which activates their Bright Powers against opponents.
