Jurassic Park Institute Tour: Dinosaur Rescue is a Game Boy Advance title consisting of five distinct dinosaur-themed minigames. The player assumes the role of a dinosaur in several of these activities, which involve navigating hazards to complete objectives.
One activity requires guiding a dinosaur across a field to a helicopter while avoiding others, with points awarded for each successful escort. Another has a dinosaur moving from left to right to reach a cave, evading volcanic debris along the way. A memory-based game challenges the player to replicate and extend sequences of button inputs, ending after a set number of errors, making it challenging as it progresses.
Protective instincts are central to two other minigames. In one, a mother dinosaur must guard her nest from approaching humans by confronting them directly. In a similar theme, another task involves a mother dinosaur fetching meat from across a hazardous landscape and returning it to her nest while dodging falling rocks.
