Vigilante 8 Overview
Vigilante 8 for the Game Boy Color adapts the vehicular combat concept into a top-down perspective. The playfield scrolls as the player's chosen vehicle moves across it.
Selection is possible from two opposing factions, the Vigilantes and the Coyotes, with six unique drivers and vehicles represented in each group. Missions unfold across various themed battle locations, with objectives shaped by one of five distinct game modes.
Core actions involve controlling a car's speed and direction to locate and engage opponents with weaponry. The experience supports both solo play and direct competition for two players.
