SWiV Overview
SWIV for the Game Boy Color is a vertically scrolling shooter. It is a portable adaptation of a 1992 console title, known in some regions as Firepower 2000.
The player selects between two vehicles: an attack Jeep or a helicopter. While the helicopter can ignore ground obstacles, its forward-firing weaponry presents a distinct tactical consideration. In this version, both vehicle types share identical performance characteristics for speed, durability, and handling.
Level designs are derived from the original but have been condensed, featuring a reduced number of enemy encounters. The cooperative two-player mode, where one person would control the Jeep and the other the helicopter, is absent from this release.
